I recently invested in a Papershoot camera. After months of not picking up my mirrorless camera, I needed something to re-spark the shutterbug in me. While I have a decent smartphone camera, I find myself less inclined toward mobile photography these days. Sometimes carrying around my mirrorless camera felt like a chore.

The Papershoot is compact and simulates the look of film. It has 4 filters you can toggle with a small switch. Color, B&W, Sepia, and Blue. It’s small and light enough to carry in your pocket. I got bought the latest version that packs in 18 MP, F/2.2, and automatic exposure. The fun is in not knowing how the images would come out. It forced me to re-think the way I was taking photos.
